Matt Alderman

Matt Alderman is a remarkably talented producer and songwriter in country music. Originally from Chicago, Alderman moved to Nashville in 2012 to pursue a career in songwriting and producing after graduating from the University of Miami. In only a year, Alderman started making his mark on Music Row and signed his first publishing deal with Curb. From there, he came out swinging and landed a Top 30, “Good Company” by Jake Owen and struck gold a second time when he began collaborating with Curb recording artist, Dylan Scott, writing and producing on his debut, self-titled album. In 2017, Matt Alderman achieved his first #1 song as a producer with Dylan Scott’s single, “My Girl”. From that point on, everyone recognized that Alderman was a force in the music industry. In 2021, Matt co-wrote and co-produced Dylan Scott’s song “Nobody”, which not only landed #1 on the charts, but also earned Matt the AIMP award of Nashville Rising Songwriter of the Year. His momentum has continued throughout the years with his chart-topping hit “Truth About You,” co-written and performed by Mitchell Tenpenny in 2022, and the viral 2023 smash “Can’t Have Mine” performed by Dylan Scott. With songs recorded by country stars like Lee Brice, Brett Young, Dustin Lynch, Granger Smith, Matt Stell, LOCASH and more, Matt Alderman showcases again and again his undeniable talent as a songwriter and producer in the country music industry.
